Exciting announcement time!

Hello and welcome back. I just wanted to do a quick announcement today of what I’m up to in the next two weeks or so. I am leaving tomorrow… And I still haven’t packed. But anyway! Tomorrow, I will be starting the trip. I’m going to Seabeck, which is in Western Washington somewhere. It’s across the water. It’s about a hour and half southwest of Seattle. And what I’ll be doing there, I will be a volunteer interpreter at the Seabeck DeafBlind Retreat that they host every year. This will be my first time going, so I’m really excited about that. It will be a big learning experience for me. I have been somewhat involved with the DeafBlind community, but not in-depth, into it. So I will learn a lot at this camp, and I’m excited for that. The retreat is about a week long. I probably won’t be filming much. I may film the scene, beautiful landscapes, blah blah. I may do that. But I won’t be filming the people, or work–I’ll be working, so… And it’s not really my place to film these people without their consent, so I won’t be doing that. You may see some landscapes, water, whatever, but that’s it.

Then I proceed to be distracted by a hummingbird for a solid two minutes.

After the retreat finishes, I will be going on a road trip with one of my childhood best friends. We will be driving–we? I will be driving, he’s riding along, and we’re going to LA, then on the way back, we’ll be stopping in San Francisco, and of course, we will be stopping at several places on the way there and back. But… I just thought, if you have any ideas of places in LA or San Francisco, or on the way there or back, that we absolutely have to stop at, leave it in the comments. Of course, we already have a list of some places we want to go to, but we want suggestions too, if you think of something that we didn’t think of, whatever. The Last Bookstore is an obvious one. My friend is a big book person too, so that is happening for sure. We also will be going to City Lights in San Francisco, so yes. Yes. I’m excited for that. The road trip is a little over one week, so it’s not a lot of time, but suggestions please! And if you have suggestions for national parks, or camping spots, or whatever, leave those too. Not just the city, nature too. Everything.

I think that’s all I want to say for this–oh! During Seabeck, I probably won’t be posting any videos. I may pre-film some tonight or tomorrow, I don’t know, and edit those during my breaks at camp. I don’t know if that will happen, we’ll see. And same with the road trip. I don’t know if I will actually edit and post anything. We’ll see what happens. Yeah, so possibly two weeks without any videos… But we’ll see what happens. I will try to not have that happen.

Also, September is Deaf Awareness Month, so if you have any thoughts or ideas that you want me to make videos from, let me know below.

You have options for what to leave a comment about. One, what I should see or do on the trip to LA and back. Two, what I should do during September for Deaf Awareness Month. And… I think that’s it. Yeah. Okay. That’s it for me today, I guess. Hope you…look forward to whatever comes from this trip!
